The government also passed the Conclusion on Adopting the Financial Support Programme for Processing Fruit and Vegetables Made from 100% Domestic Raw Materials in 2026, for which RSD 70 million has been allocated.
Also, the Conclusion on the Adoption of the Financial Support Programme for the Processing Activity of Manufacturing Cheese and Other Dairy Products Made from 100% Domestic Raw Materials in 2026 was adopted, for which the same amount was allocated – RSD 70 million.
The goal of this programme is to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic dairy industry, encourage investments in the modernisation and expansion of processing capacities, as well as the establishment of new dairies that use exclusively domestic raw materials, while particular focus is placed on smaller producers and the development of rural areas through increasing added value and stability in the purchase of primary production.
The Decree on Establishing a Support Programme for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Rural Areas in 2026, for the implementation of which RSD 50 million has been allocated, was also adopted.
The government members also adopted the Decree on the Establishment of the Support Programme for the Development of Traditional and Artistic Crafts and Handicrafts in 2026, for the implementation of which RSD 25 million has been allocated, as well as the Decree on the Conditions, Method of Allocation and Use of Incentive Funds for the Development and Improvement of Rural Tourism and Hospitality in the Territory of the Republic of Serbia, in order to increase the overall tourist traffic by developing rural tourism and improving the capacity and quality of services.
The Decree on the Establishment of the Support Programme for the Implementation of Population Policy Measures and Support in the Field of Family and Children in the Republic of Serbia for 2026, for which slightly more than RSD 392 million has been allocated, was also adopted.
The government members agreed to finance a project for the rehabilitation and conservation and restoration works at the Memorial Ossuary on the island of Vido, in the Hellenic Republic, where Serbian soldiers who died during the First World War are buried, and a decision was also made to grant the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade the status of an institute of national significance.
