Normalisation of operations, strengthening of State University in Novi Pazar

Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, spoke today with Rector of the State University in Novi Pazar Professor Tatjana Soldatović, PhD, about the further stabilisation of the work of this higher education institution and its development.

Macut pointed out the importance of the State University in Novi Pazar as a key educational and development institution in the region, which plays an important role in educating professionals, strengthening the local economy and retaining young people in this part of the country.

At the meeting, it was confirmed that the new semester at the State University in Novi Pazar will begin on 9 March 2026, thereby ensuring the continuity of the teaching process and academic dynamics.

Special emphasis was placed on the normalisation of operations and strengthening of the higher education institution, its return to the system of academic networks, as well as the improvement of governance, teaching and research capacities.

The interlocutors agreed that overcoming the problems from the previous period is a priority and that, with the support of the competent institutions, the University will further strengthen its position in the national higher education system.
