At a meeting held at the end of the Deputy Prime Minister’s two-day visit to Greece, Dačić and Chrysochoidis discussed the current migration situation on the Western Balkan migration route.
Dačić stressed that very good and productive cooperation is being achieved with competent services in Greece, primarily in the field of combating organised crime, with the aim of achieving the safety and security of Serbian citizens.
He paid special attention to further steps towards establishing an Interpol regional bureau in Belgrade, which would contribute to the more efficient work of national bureau centres in the region.
In this way, the exchange of information, the organisation of joint training and the development of advanced technological solutions would be further intensified.
The two ministers concluded that there is room for improving police cooperation through training, exchange of experiences and best practices.
Dačić also invited Chrysochoidis to visit Serbia, together with the Director of the Greek Police.
