Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, attended today in Athens the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

The agreement, signed by the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, Nataša Milić, MD, PhD, and the President of the Faculty of Medicine in Athens, Professor Nikolaos Arkadopoulos, in the presence of delegations from Serbia and Greece, was assessed as an important step towards connecting the universities and strengthening academic cooperation.
The signing of this document enables the participation in joint master's and doctoral study programmes, the strengthening of clinical medicine, epidemiology and statistics, as well as the expansion of cooperation to other scientific fields.
With this agreement, Serbia further strengthens its path towards the European Union and confirms the strength of its scientific and educational system.
