Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić and Greek Minister of the Interior Theodoros Livanios examined at a meeting in Athens the possibilities of improving cooperation between the two countries in the areas of common interest.

Dačić, who began his two-day visit to Greece with this meeting, underlined that the two countries cherish traditionally good, brotherly relations, based on mutual trust and support.
During the talks, the interlocutors also addressed the possibility of overcoming the problem of long waiting times for Serbian tourists at the Evzoni border crossing during the summer season.
Dačić underlined that Serbia highly appreciates the consistent support of Athens in respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia in accordance with international law.
Topics of global importance were also discussed, including security and economic challenges in the contemporary international environment.
