Oleg Novkovic’s film nominated for Academy Award

The Serbian Academy of Film Arts and Sciences decided to nominate “Sutra Ujutru” (Tomorrow Morning, 2006), directed by Oleg Novkovic and screenplayed by Milena Markovic, for the US Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Foreign Language Film.

Producer Lazar Ristovski, who also plays in the movie, said that after numerous festivals and awards that this movie won in the country and abroad, this recognition comes as a crowning achievement and a new opportunity for Serbian film.
Ristovski expressed hope that the Serbian Ministry of Culture and the Belgrade Secretariat for Culture, that financially supported this film, will also support its promotion on the US and global market, the way they did before.
