Macut discussed with the president and founder of the centre, Igor Jurić, and representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, the current implementation of the “Find Me” system and ways to further improve it.
The Prime Minister underlined that protecting children from all forms of violence is a strategic commitment of the Government of Serbia, and that organisations such as the Centre for Missing and Abused Children also play a very important role on this path.
He pointed out that everyone in society should be committed to this topic, from families themselves, which are the foundation of society, to state institutions and civil society organisations.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Centre for Missing and Abused Children and Igor Jurić on their achievements to date in protecting minors and combating child abuse, as well as the Ministry of the Interior for constantly improving the system for combating violence against children.
The meeting also looked at the importance of professional training for members of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior for working with employees in the social sector, as well as the establishment of a protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior and mobile teams of volunteers during the search for missing persons.
