Serbian Assistant Minister of Culture Milos Jankovic said today at a presentation of the Borba daily's first printed supplement in French that through this supplement Serbia is seen as a country that belongs to the francophone community.
Jankovic said that this French supplement will be bimonthly and will come out for the first time before the Francophone Summit.
He expressed hope that Serbia will be admitted to the International Organisation of the Francophonie at this summit which is to take place in the last week of October in Bucharest, Romania.
Director and editor-in-chief of Borba Cedomir Soskic said that this daily has already showed it has a good team that can prepare this supplement and recalled that Borba published 46 supplements in English last year.
Editor of the supplement Dragan Milenkovic said that two trial issues in French that were welcomed by the French Cultural Centre, the French Embassy and French language experts have been prepared.
