Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today with a research team of the Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine, which operates as part of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, to discuss the clinical practice and research progress of traditional Chinese medicine.

The interlocutors emphasised the importance of exchanging scientific knowledge and experiences that can contribute to the development of innovative methods in the prevention and treatment of various health conditions.
Special attention was paid to future joint projects that would connect traditional therapeutic models with conventional medicine in order to strengthen public health.
Both sides expressed their willingness to continue advancing the partnership in the field of medicine and health research.
