72nd Vukov Sabor opens

Serbian Minister for Diaspora Vojislav Vukcevic opened the 72nd Vukov Sabor last night by saying that the life and work of Vuk Stefanovic-Karadzic are greater than his and our eras.
Vukcevic spoke of the importance of Karadzic’s work for the Serbian speech and script, noting that Karadzic played a major role in preservation of the Serbian language and Cyrillic script.
This year’s event in Loznica is being organised by the Loznica municipality, Vuk Karadzic culture centre from Loznica and Vuk’s Foundation in Belgrade and under the auspices of the Serbian Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Sport, Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection and Ministry for Diaspora.
This year’s event in Loznica is being organised by the Loznica municipality, Vuk Karadzic culture centre from Loznica and Vuk’s Foundation in Belgrade and under the auspices of the Serbian Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Sport, Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection and Ministry for Diaspora.
