Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today with President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, who is on an official visit to Serbia.
Macut welcomed the President of the Congo and expressed belief that his visit will contribute to the further development of relations between the two countries and the intensification of cooperation.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the bilateral documents signed today in the fields of internal and foreign affairs and sports will provide an additional impetus to the development of overall relations.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo for friendship, respect, cooperation and support.
These relations date back to the times of the Non-Aligned Movement, and, with pride in having such friends, we continue to develop our cooperation, he said.
