Macut emphasised that Serbia attaches particular importance to the development of overall relations with Bulgaria, as an important neighbouring country with which it has a long tradition of bilateral relations.
Recalling that last year marked the 145th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Bulgaria, he expressed his belief that new Bulgarian Ambassador to Serbia Angel Angelov will be dedicated to intensifying cooperation, for the benefit of both states and the two peoples.
Serbia and Bulgaria are two friendly and good-neighbourly countries and I am confident that they will continue to build closeness and improve cooperation, Macut stated.
