Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today with a delegation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to discuss the further strengthening of strategic relations between Serbia and the UAE and the improvement of services of importance for Serbian citizens.

The meeting also looked at the further development of cooperation in the fields of digital administration, artificial intelligence, government accelerators and innovation in public services, as well as new forms of partnership, in line with the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Serbia.
Macut expressed gratitude to the delegation of the UAE, led by Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Exchange of Experience Abdulla Lootah, for their sincere and steadfast friendship and strong support to Serbia on its path of further development, especially in the field of digital infrastructure.
He said that today’s opening of the eGovernment Service Centre at the Galerija shopping mall, for which the UAE government donated equipment and secured financial support, stands as further proof of exceptional bilateral relations between the two countries, mutual trust and reliable partnership in the field of digital transformation and technological development.
