In an interview with RTS, Ilic said that many European giant construction companies applied on the tender and noted that the winner of the tender will return the investment through road toll.
According to him, the Horgos-Pozega highway as well as two other highways which will be built on Corridor 10 – from Leskovac to the Macedonian border and from Nis to Dimitrovgrad will be completed in three to four years.
The two highways will be built with €900 million from the state budget, i.e., privatisation funds, the Minister said.
