Prime Minister Macut emphasised that the social and healthcare system should be developed in the direction of greater solidarity, accessibility and intergenerational support, and that Serbia strives to improve the position of its elderly citizens and encourage active and dignified aging.
The interlocutors agreed that caring for the elderly is a common value that binds society together and that it is necessary to strengthen cooperation in the field of social and intergenerational solidarity.
Prime Minister Macut thanked Vincenzo Paglia for his visit and expressed his belief that this meeting will contribute to strengthening friendship, understanding and cooperation in areas of common interest.
The meeting was also attended by Italian Ambassador to Serbia Luca Gori.
