“This evening, General Nebojša Pavković arrived in Serbia. This fulfils the request of the Government of the Republic of Serbia that he be granted early release on health grounds.
In my own name and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, I express gratitude to all who contributed to this request being accepted. I especially thank Minister of Justice of the Republic of Serbia Nenad Vujić for his persistence and determination. This act confirms that the state cares for its citizens and advocates humane principles in international relations.
General Pavković will continue his treatment in Serbia, with the support of his family and the health institutions of our country”.
