Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, today spoke with the rectors of universities founded by the Republic of Serbia about the implementation of previous agreements and plans for the beginning of the next academic year.
At the meeting held at the Serbian government building, in a constructive dialogue, it was concluded that all universities will successfully complete teaching activities and examination periods for the current academic year by 31 October 2025 at the latest, and that the 2025/2026 academic year will begin no later than 3 November in all higher education institutions in Serbia.
An agreement was also reached to intensify the discussions in the coming period and to directly involve faculty representatives from universities founded by the Republic of Serbia.
