Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, today received a farewell visit from Ambassador of the Republic of India Shubhdarshini Tripathi, to whom he expressed his gratitude for her personal contribution to strengthening friendly and partnership relations between the two countries.

Serbian market open to investors from India

Macut recalled that significant progress has been achieved in the areas of trade, agriculture, IT and cultural cooperation and that Serbia remains committed to further advancing bilateral relations, with a special emphasis on the areas of innovation, education and new technologies.
The Serbian market, as he emphasised, is open to investors from India.
The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude for India’s consistent position on non-recognition of the independence of the so-called Kosovo and for the country's support for preserving Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Tripathi stated that during her mandate in Belgrade, cooperation with Serbian institutions was at an exceptional level and expressed her belief that the development of good relations between the two countries would continue in the future, on the well-established foundations of mutual respect and traditional friendship.
The Prime Minister wished the Indian Ambassador good health and emphasised that Serbia would always remain open to Indian friends.
