Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Serbia Pernille Dahler Kardel to discuss geopolitical issues, economic cooperation and Serbia’s European path.
Macut emphasised that Denmark is one of Serbia’s most important Scandinavian partners, assessing that there is potential for further strengthening overall cooperation and political dialogue.
He added that a positive trend has been recorded in the development of bilateral relations in recent years, underlining that Serbia is committed to further improving economic cooperation and trade.
The Prime Minister congratulated Denmark on assuming the presidency of the Council of the European Union and expressed gratitude for its consistent support for Serbia’s European path.
The Ambassador emphasised that Denmark supports Serbia’s European path, adding that bilateral relations between the two countries are at an enviable level.
