Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić and Director of the Security Intelligence Agency Vladimir Orlić met today with Minister of Defence of the Federal Republic of Somalia Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, who is paying an official visit to Serbia as part of his country’s delegation.

Dačić and Orlić noted that this visit represents an important incentive for deepening bilateral relations between Serbia and Somalia.
At the meeting, it was emphasised that the two countries are bound by decades-long friendship and close cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement, as well as by their mutual interest in enhancing ties in various fields, particularly in the sphere of internal affairs and security.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Fiqi for Somalia’s principled stance on the preservation of Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
