Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Diaspora of the Republic of the Congo Jean-Claude Gakosso in Belgrade today to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of internal affairs.

The interlocutors emphasised that the two countries cherish friendly and partnership relations, as demonstrated by cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement.
They also agreed that there is room for advancing overall bilateral relations in all fields, including the area of security.
Dačić highlighted the importance of consistent respect for international law, expressing gratitude to Minister Gakosso for his country’s principled position on preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
