Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić met today in Almaty with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin on the occasion of the Fourth Session of the Intergovernmental Serbian-Kazakhstan Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Dačić emphasised that the bilateral relations between our two countries are characterised by mutual respect, understanding and mutual support, in all areas of common interest.
During the meeting, he thanked his interlocutor for Kazakhstan’s firm and consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, as well as our position and policy on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
Dačić and Zhumangarin agreed that intensifying the exchange of visits at the high and highest levels is important for improving our comprehensive cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, business, culture, tourism and defence.
