In a press conference, Vukcevic said that more than 200 children will participate in the “Moba 2006” programme, and noted that 100 of them are from the Diaspora while 30 are from Kosovo-Metohija. They will stay in Soko Grad, where the Sabac-Valjevo Bishopric will prepare daily activities for them and lodgings in the Soko monastery near Ljubovija.
“Moba 2006” starts on July 19 and will last one month, the Minister said and added that excursions to sacred places of the Serbian Orthodox Church will be organised on the weekends.
Children will learn the language, religion, history and be involved in ecology workshops, folklore, singing, quizzes, arranging the monastery yard, painting and other activities, Vukcevic said.
The organisational board for “Moba 2006” consists of representatives of the Ministry of Diaspora, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services, Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of International Economic Relations, and representatives of the Sabac-Valjevo Bishopric.
