During the cordial and friendly conversation, the interlocutors emphasised the importance of interfaith dialogue and strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, culture and religious tolerance.
It was noted that Christians and Muslims in the Republic of Serbia live in harmony and mutual respect, serving as an example of peaceful coexistence of different religions within the same territory.
Prime Minister Macut highlighted Serbia’s commitment to preserving peace and understanding among religious communities, while the Grand Imam expressed support for efforts to strengthen the friendly relations between Egypt and Serbia.
