Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today with Mayor of Niš Dragoslav Pavlović to discuss the further development of the city and the Serbian government’s support for infrastructure projects in this part of the country.
Macut noted that Niš is an exceptionally interesting city, with significant economic, tourism and cultural capacities and potential, and that continued state investment will contribute to an even better quality of life for its citizens.
Niš is a city with a rich history and culture, but also with strong potential for further development in line with European standards, he underlined.
The Prime Minister also visited the Niška Banja Institute for Treatment and Rehabilitation, where he highlighted the importance of this institution in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular, rheumatic and other chronic diseases.
Here, the Prime Minister remarked that a great future lies ahead for both Niška Banja and the City of Niš.
