Macut, who visited the Gendarmerie base in Aleksinac together with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić, emphasised the importance of this unit in preserving the country’s security and stability.
According to him, the state will continue to invest in the equipment, training and working conditions of Gendarmerie personnel, as they are the guarantors of the safety of Serbian citizens.
Members of the Gendarmerie demonstrate exceptional dedication, courage and professionalism on a daily basis, the Prime Minister remarkeаd.
