Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, attended the event “Encounter on the Drina – Bridges of Serbian Unity” held today in Višegrad, marking the first anniversary of the All-Serb Assembly and the signing of the Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights and the Common Future of the Serbian People.

Prime Minister Macut stated that solidarity and unity of the Serbian people are essential, that this event is of historical importance, and that it reflects the togetherness which will safeguard Republika Srpska and Serbia. He also emphasised the importance of preserving peace and of the state as a guarantor of that peace.
The event in Andrićgrad was jointly organised by the governments of the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska as a symbol of the strong ties uniting the Serbian people on both sides of the Drina River.
