Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, spoke today with Secretary General of the Bureau International des Expositions Dimitri Kerkentzes about the organisation of the Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade exhibition.
The Prime Minister said that so far 110 countries have confirmed their participation in Expo 2027 and expressed his expectation that this number will be significantly higher at the exhibition.
Prime Minister Macut emphasised that the exhibition is a historic opportunity for Serbia, which is the organiser of such a large event with a long tradition.
According to him, such an event will contribute to the economic growth of Serbia, and will also have an impact on the entire Balkans.
The first International Planning Meeting for the participation in the Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade exhibition - IPM will be held on 10-11 June in Belgrade.
