In a press conference held after the government session, Loncar said that the Ministry of Interior is in charge of implementation of this decision, in accordance with the Law on citizenship.
He said that the government thus fulfilled its obligation based on the Conclusion passed in a
session on June 15, adding that the Ministry of Education and Sport is now expected to make decisions in its jurisdiction related to Montenegrin citizens.
Loncar said that Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica informed government members today on his foreign policy activities related to Kosovo-Metohija’s future status and presentation of the platform of the state negotiating team on the province’s status.
According to Loncar, Kostunica announced meetings with Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi on July 5 in Rome and with the US administration on July 11 in Washington, DC.
Government members were also presented with an action plan for cooperation with the Hague tribunal which will be done in cooperation with the EU, Loncar said.
Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic said that the Information of the Ministry of Health for urgent reconstruction of 50 health centres across Serbia was adopted in the session today and that the government passed a Conclusion that this project should be completed within several months.
