Memorandum on cooperation signed between SANU and National Research Council of Italy

President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU) Nikola Hajdin and Vice President of the National Research Council of Italy Robert de Mattei signed today a memorandum of understanding and scientific cooperation between the two institutions.
This document envisages cooperation through joint research projects, scientific meetings, exchange of research and scientific literature.
It also establishes cooperation in the fields of information technologies, marine research, environmental protection, and humanistic and social scientific research.
The memorandum is valid for five years, and can be extended for a further five years.
The National Research Council is one of the most important scientific institutions in Italy, which is comprised of 110 scientific institutes and nearly 8,000 researchers.
