This document envisages cooperation through joint research projects, scientific meetings, exchange of research and scientific literature.
It also establishes cooperation in the fields of information technologies, marine research, environmental protection, and humanistic and social scientific research.
The memorandum is valid for five years, and can be extended for a further five years.
