The statement specifies that the working groups will deal with issues related with documents, objects of art, archeology and artists' exchange, and that the groups' field of work and structure were also agreed upon.
Coordinators for culture, Director of the Serbian Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments Gordana Markovic and the Kosovo Art's Gallery Director Luan Muliki, were appointed by ministers of the Serbian ministry of culture and provisional Kosovo government after their first meeting, held last September. Their task will be to help solve issues of mutual interest regarding culture and cultural heritage, reads the statement.
The next meeting of the coordinators has been scheduled for mid-May in Pristina.
Before the meeting, Serbian Assistant Minister of Culture Milos Jankovic received the coordinators and reasserted the ministry's support and dedication to the permanent dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina regarding culture issues, concludes the statement.
