Slobodan Kovac, left, and Zoran Stojkovic
Stojkovic told a press conference that he and his colleague from Bosnia-Herzegovina exchanged experiences on cooperation, judicial reform and harmonisation of the two countries’ judiciary systems with EU standards.
The two ministers also discussed the judiciary reform strategy.
It only remains that Serbia sign this kind of protocol with Romania, Stojkovic said.
Kovac noted that both Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina are obliged to the EU to adjust their legal frameworks and judiciary systems with those of the EU.
Harmonisation with EU standards will prevent organised crime, corruption and all other forms of crime, Kovac said.
He added that the signed protocol allows for implementation of operational agreements between the two countries and pointed out that the signing of this document will greatly contribute to the strengthening of the legal state in both countries.
