Cooperation with UNHCR on solving humanitarian issues

Dačić pointed out the importance of UNHCR's support for strengthening Serbia's capacity for effective protection and reception of refugees and the initiation of procedures for issuing travel documents for refugees.
He said that the Serbian Ministry of the Interior, as before, will be a reliable partner of this important UN agency, adding that he will advocate for strengthening and expanding cooperation with all UN agencies.
The representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees praised the efforts of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior to date, pointing out that UNHCR will continue to support Serbia in strengthening its response to humanitarian issues.
