Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Bojan Dimitrijevic said following the signing of the protocol that it will allow mutual promotion of tourism, exchange of experience and expertise in the field, and cooperation at ministerial level as well as between tourist organisations.
Dimitrijevic said that exploring the possibility of Tunisian tourists visiting Serbia will be the object of future cooperation. He added that for Tunisians health resort and mountain tourism offered by Serbia is of major interest.
Tunisian Minister of Tourism Tijani Hadad said that last year some 20,000 tourists from Serbia visited Tunisia, and that tourism workers are ambitious to make this figure even higher.
According to Hadad, there is a growing interest among Tunisians to visit Serbia, and the Tunisian government is preparing a plan which will make it easier for all tourists to travel abroad.
