Minister of Religion extends Easter greetings to Roman Catholics, Protestants

Serbian Minister of Religion Milan Radulovic sent Easter greetings to Belgrade Archbishop Stanislav Hocevar, bishops, the clergy, religious instructors, students, cultural and political representatives and all Roman Catholic and Protestant believers who are celebrating the greatest Christian holiday on Sunday.

"Our joint faith in the Holy Son's Resurrection enlightens and alleviates the suffering of our people and every religious man. The Easter light makes all creatures joyful at the prospect of eternal life and raises in every man a sober and liberating knowledge that all earthly goods and possessions over which men and peoples have fought but too long are transient and momentary. The Resurrected Christ summons us today as always and with him we soar to the heights of mutual love, understanding and solidarity.

May these holy days strengthen all men of good faith and pure soul in their belief that by respecting our differences that adorn and distinguish us, as well as by honesty and truthfulness with each other and love for man, people and the country, we can order our society and our mutual home, Serbia, according to the laws of the highest and most humane justice and mercy with which Christ, the Risen Son of our Lord is illuminating and inspiring us", reads Minister Radulovic's greeting.
