Prime Minister Miloš Vučević spoke today with Ambassador of Mexico to Serbia Carlos Felix about the continuation of good cooperation and the improvement of bilateral relations.
Vučević expressed his gratitude to Mexico for its restrained attitude during the vote on the resolution on Srebrenica in the UN General Assembly and pointed out that this resolution will in no way contribute to the stabilization of the situation in the region, nor to the improvement of relations between the Serb and Bosniak people.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Serbia greatly appreciates the support of Mexico in the matter of territorial integrity and sovereignty and the firm position that it does not recognize the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the potential for strengthening economic cooperation, which is based on the traditional friendship and closeness of the two peoples, exists in the fields of agriculture and industry.
Felix assessed that the relations between the two countries are friendly and that they are connected by sincere support and conveyed that Mexico will not change its position on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
