Japanese investors recognise benefits of business in Serbia

Vučević said that the potential for cooperation with the Japanese IT company is primarily within the plan "EXPO 2027" in areas such as cyber security, construction of digital platforms and smart cities.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Serbia is a country with excellent business climate, especially for investments in the field of information technologies and that the leader of the region is in innovative technologies and fields of artificial intelligence.
The Information Technology Sector in Serbia records a permanent growth in recent years and thus is becoming one of the most promising and most attractive industries in Serbia, he stated.
The Prime Minister, noting that the bilateral economic cooperation between Serbia and Japan increased more and more in intensity, that Japanese investors recognized the advantages of business in our country and that increasing number of Japanese companies operate in our market.
Ambassador of Japan Akira Imamura said that NTT Data wants smart cities that use potentials of technology and innovation, together with other resources, to promote sustainable development and, as the ultimate goal, ensure quality improvement Life of citizens.
