The Prime Minister assessed that Serbia is committed to the further development and improvement of relations in military-technical and military-educational cooperation, as evidenced by the upward trend in relations between Serbia and Egypt in these areas.
Prime Minister Vučević, recalling the recent visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Serbia, expressed his belief that the two countries will continue to improve bilateral relations and intensify political dialogue.
The Prime Minister expressed deep disappointment over Egypt's decision to vote for the resolution on Srebrenica in the United Nations General Assembly.
He said that Serbia is determined to preserve peace and stability in the region, which is a basic prerequisite for the prosperity of the Western Balkans.
Vučević reiterated Serbia's strategic determination as a militarily neutral state, which represents a reliable partner to all relevant actors in the field of international relations, as well as security and defence.
The Commander of the Air Force of Egypt congratulated Prime Minister Vučević on his new position and expressed his belief that during his mandate the cooperation between the two countries will reach a higher level of relations.
He invited Serbia to participate in the upcoming International Fair of Arms and Military Equipment, which is being held in Egypt this year.
