Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić extended his condolences to the leadership and people of Iran over the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
"I was shocked by the news of the tragic death of President Ebrahim Raisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, as well as members of his delegation.
The Iranian people is left without a dedicated leader, loyal to his country and the high office he held. Serbia has lost a proven friend and important partner, with whom we sincerely worked for the benefit of the traditional closeness of our peoples.
The passing of President Raisi and the members of his delegation is a huge loss for Iran, its people and the state leadership, for which I express my deepest condolences", Dačić said.
