First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic talked today with Secretary-General of the Association of Caribbean States Rodolfo Sabonge, who is on an official visit to our country.
Dacic expressed his satisfaction with the visit of the high representative of this important regional organisation, which gathers a large number of Caribbean countries, and in which Serbia, in the capacity of observer, has been present and active since 2012.
In a friendly conversation, mutual readiness was expressed for further intensification of relations between Serbia and the Association of Caribbean States, as well as of bilateral cooperation with the countries it gathers.
On this occasion, Sabonge again invited Dacic to participate in the 29th regular meeting of the ACS Ministerial Council, which will be held on 9 May this year in Paramaribo, Republic of Suriname, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
