Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with the ambassadors of the Quint and the Ambassador of the European Union to Serbia.
Brnabic expressed her gratitude to the ambassadors for the excellent cooperation they had in previous years, during her presidency of the Government of Serbia. She expressed her hope that good cooperation will continue in the future, with the next government, as well as with her personally.
The ambassadors emphasised that they had a good relationship with Brnabic and wished her luck and success in her next role. She informed the ambassadors that in the coming period, until the election of the new government, First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic will chair the government.
Brnabic informed the ambassadors about everything that has been done so far to implement the ODIHR recommendations for the improvement of the electoral process. She said that two recommendations have already been fulfilled, that others are being worked on, and that the ODIHR mission has been invited to observe the new Belgrade elections as well. She told the ambassadors that most of the ODIHR recommendations must be implemented by the parliament.
The ambassadors congratulated Brnabic on the fact that Serbia won the presidency of the Global Partnership for Artificial Intelligence.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the United States of America to Serbia Christopher Hill, Ambassador of Germany Anne Konrad, Ambassador of France Pierre Cauchard, Ambassador of Italy Luca Gori, Ambassador of Great Britain Edward Ferguson, and Ambassador of the European Union to Serbia Emmanuele Giaufret.
