First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met with Director General for Europe of the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States Jennifer Feller, who is in Belgrade on the occasion of the VII meeting of the Bilateral Political Consultation Mechanism.

During the talks, both sides expressed mutual satisfaction with the high level of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, which is linked by traditional friendship, mutual respect, understanding and support.
Intensive cooperation within international organisations based on a joint effort to respect the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations was highlighted.
Dacic expressed his gratitude to the United Mexican States for their consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
During the talks, numerous opportunities for further improvement of bilateral cooperation were discussed, and in this context, mutual readiness to strengthen political dialogue and economic ties, as well as cooperation in the fields of agriculture, culture, education, sports and tourism, was expressed.
