Serbian film industry to be presented at Cannes festival

The Serbian Ministry of Culture has said that the Serbian Film Centre, under the patronage of this ministry, will organise a presentation of the Serbian film industry and its most important achievements at this year’s 59th film festival in Cannes, France.
Minister of Culture Dragan Kojadinovic said that this presentation will be particularly important in terms of connecting business and culture sectors. He stressed that film has always been one of Serbia’s most successful export products which can bring many new investors to Serbia.
Kojadinovic said that media promotion of this event is of great societal importance both for the film making industry as well as for further development of successful ties between the economy and culture.
