On March 20, at the evening devoted to the Paris Book Fair at the Serbia-Montenegrin cultural centre in Paris, the following speakers will address the gathering: Zoran Zivkovic of the Serbia-Montenegrin Association of Publishers and Booksellers, Vesna Injac of the National Library of Serbia, Zoran Hamovic of the Clio publishing house, Petar Zivadinovic of the Paidea publishing house, Dragan Vukcevic of the CID publishing house, Radomir Uljarevic of the Oktoih publishing house, Serbian Deputy Minister of Culture Ljiljana Sop, and author Goran Petrovic.
The space which the French daily Figaro devoted to author David Albahari and his books translated into French ("Bait," "The Snow Man" and "Globetrotter") in its specialised edition celebrating the most significant literary gathering in France, represents further recognition of Serbian literary identity.
The 26th Paris Book Fair will host the estimated 160,000 visitors and 1,200 publishers from 25 countries, 60 of which are fist-time exhibitors.
