Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with Special Envoy of Slovenia for the Western Balkans Anzej Franges.
Speaking about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, the Prime Minister pointed out that for a long time Belgrade has been very intensively pointing out to the brutality, violence and discrimination to which the Serbian and other non-Albanian population in our southern province is exposed.
Brnabic, among other things, particularly pointed out that Pristina is still not taking any steps to de-escalate the situation in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as that the Community of Serb Municipalities has not yet been formed, even though it is the obligation by the Brussels Agreement, which was signed more than 10 years ago.
Franges thanked for the detailed information about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.
He added that Slovenia provides full support to the European integration process of Serbia and emphasised the importance of the expansion of the European Union in our region.
The two officials also discussed a number of current regional and global issues.
