The Prime Minister underlined that in the coming year, given the global events, there will be even more challenges and that it is important to work dedicatedly on implementing projects in order to ensure the growth of the Serbian economy.
Analysing sectors and areas, it was noted at the session that in August of this year, industrial production recorded growth in the total and processing industry, the situation in retail trade is good because demand is increasing, and inflation is decreasing.
As stated, food prices have been stabilised, and the campaign "Better Price" has produced results in that field.
The Prime Minister also said that the good momentum from the third quarter should be used in the next one as well, and she highlighted the construction industry and agriculture.
The ministers reported to the Prime Minister on the situation in their departments, emphasising that the implementation of all projects is proceeding according to plan, whether it is the construction industry, environmental protection, agriculture, trade or infrastructure.
In the field of tourism, inspection controls of undeclared and illegal private accommodation are being strengthened, while in agriculture, eAgrar is giving results, because the large number of farmers who applied for subsidies, but were not entitled to them, is decreasing.
Stubble burning controls have also been enhanced.
