Prime Minister Ana Brnabic emphasised today, in a meeting with Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt Hanafy Ali Gebaly that the relationship between the two countries is based on sincere friendship and cooperation, bearing in mind that this year marks 115 years since the establishment of the two countries’ diplomatic relations.

Brnabic stated that the political relations between the two countries are at a high level and that there is room for improving cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, energy, technology, student exchange and others.
She especially expressed her gratitude for the fact that Egypt supported Serbia's candidacy for the organisation of the International World Exhibition EXPO 2027.
Ali Gebaly agreed with the Prime Minister and emphasised that there are significant opportunities to improve relations, especially in the field of economy.
