Аmber Alert system of importance for realisation of public interest

The Serbian government adopted today the Conclusion establishing that the Amber Alert system, i.e. the transmission of information about the disappearance of a minor via an electronic communication network, with the aim of urgently taking measures and actions to find the missing minor, is of importance for the realisation of the public interest.

Government members adopted the Decision on the formation of the Committee for the organisation of the promotion of the Republic of Serbia through the "Serbian House" project at the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, which represents an extraordinary platform for the promotion of the country, athletes, and brands of all the values that a country can display.

The Republic of France represents an important strategic and economic partner for Serbia, but it is also a country with which friendly relations are cultivated, which need to be maintained and improved.

For the aforementioned reasons, the launch of the "Serbian House" project, which will be implemented from 26 July to 11 August 2024, represents a good opportunity for our country to promote its capacities: economy, tourism, culture, scientific and innovative achievements, investment potential and the EXPO Belgrade 2027 project.

At the session, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Dual Education was adopted in order to improve the quality of the implementation of learning through work and to simplify the process of involving employers in dual education.

Government members also adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education, which will regulate issues related to teaching associates and assistants, as well as to students who were enrolled until 10 September 2005 at all levels of education.
