Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with State Secretary to the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Eivind Vad Petersson.
Brnabic emphasised the importance of the partnership with the Kingdom of Norway and expressed her gratitude for the close cooperation in the field of the economy, European integration and especially the energy sector.
The Prime Minister especially thanked for the expert help that this country provided to Serbia after the two tragedies that happened in our country at the beginning of May.
She reiterated that Serbia's membership in the EU remains a priority of our foreign policy and strategic commitment and expressed her gratitude to Norway for the support it provides in our country on that path.
As she stated, Norway provides assistance in the area of harmonisation of standards and regulations with the Union in the area of rule of law, state administration reforms, competitiveness, energy efficiency, environment and climate change.
The Prime Minister pointed out the problems faced by the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and that full compliance with the Brussels Agreement and the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities is the only way to continue and make progress in the process of normalisation of relations.
Eivind Vad Petersson concluded that Serbia has a stable partner in Norway, which will always be available for any kind of help and cooperation.
