In a cordial conversation, Brnabic expressed particular satisfaction with the conclusion of the negotiations of the two sides on the Agreement on mutual encouragement and protection of investments.
She underlined that there is great potential for cooperation with the Republic of Korea in the fields of digitalisation, information technology, biotechnology, artificial intelligence and creative industries.
The Prime Minister highlighted Serbia’s interest in attracting new investments from the Republic of Korea and underlined that our country has become a particularly attractive destination for the development of the automotive industry.
The Prime Minister stated that cooperation with the Republic of Korea in the field of e-government is one of the most developed segments of bilateral cooperation and voiced hope that this country will continue to transfer knowledge and experience, bearing in mind that e-government is one of the priorities of the Serbian government.
The Presidential Special Envoy of the Republic of Korea for EXPO 2030 underlined that there is a lot of room for strengthening economic cooperation with Serbia and added that exchange of knowledge with prosperous countries is important.
He assessed that Serbia made significant progress in recent years in the fields of the economy, science and economic growth.
